backfiring

I have a 02 300ex i have put on a supertrapp ids2 with 8 discs. it runs alot better with the pipe if i could get it to quit backfiring! i looked at the plug and the jetting look ok tan most of the way around. i put in a bigger main jet and adjusted the air fuel mixture according to the dynojet instructions. i have noticed a exhaust leak where the silencer attaches to the megaphone.could this cause the backfire?

work w/ your air/mix setting, and if that dont work, go up on your pilot jet ;)

Sounds like an exhaust leak to me.

thanks guys, i went 3 turns out on the air mix. i'll try going further out, or try to find a bigger pilot. the dealer here dosent have much. if it didnt come stock he dont have it.
