I picked up a 450 a couple weeks ago and just now figured out how to post pics..lol. Came with everything shown and listed in my sig. I have some ideas I want to do with it. Lookin to set it up for xc. So far i've spent more time thinking about what to put on it rather than riding it thanks to all the rain:rolleyes: Lemme know what you think :macho

Odd looking wheels and tires, but good looking bike. Judging by the clutch cover, frame and logo on the seat, doesn't look like its been ridden a whole lot. Good find.

Yeah the wheels and tire combo is a little off but the back tires were brand new so i'll probably run them for a while. I'm looking to get razr 2's in front on some hipers.

Maier Skid? I am assuming you are talking about underneath the frame and motor, correct? If so, how does it seem to be holding up? Was interested in a plastic skid and was curious if they stay together.

I have tag on mine now for 3 years its just starting to loosen up but the good thing is you can sand down the mounts to tighten them up and its good as new. I wouldn't go back to metal, the Jensen are the same as the old tag. and i run over rocks, stumps, railroad tracks, down trees and its holding up also it helps in the snow to ride on top and slide

I wasn't too sure about the maier skid so I ordered a metal one. I just didn't trust having plastic covering the most important part of my wheeler lol.

Hell yea man it looks sweet and fastredrider44 is right it looks like it hasn't been ridden very much. I would just be careful going with hypers they have a tendency to break epically since you are going with an XC set up. I would go with the DWT champion in a box beadlock set up. This isnt my bike but here is a pic of a broken hyper.

I've heard some bad things about the hipers with carbon fiber centers, like my back hipers but I haven't heard anything bad about tech 3s. I think down the road I'm goin to try to get some dual beadlock tech 3s instead of these CF1s.

I aslo have not heard anything bad about the tech 3s. But i know that they are still carbon fiber and you still run that chance of breaking them. Yet a lot of people do run them and only a fraction have problems. I guess i am just old school and trust the aluminum beadlocks better. Never the less good luck with the hipers

Updated pic. So far added wrap arounds, the prm, 13 tooth front sprocket, and tech 3 fronts. Thinkin about adding tech 3 rears or just keepin my CF1s. Sorry for the bad quality, cell phone pic.
