Spark Plug And Air Filter Questions

OK FIRST QUESTION
- DOES IT MATTER IF THE PISTON IS UP OR DOWN WHEN PUTTING THE PLUG IN?
- AND DOES ANY1 ON HERE RUN WITH OUT A AIR BOX? JUST A FILTER?

it does not matter when you put the plug in.

and yes alot of us run without a air box. I use a K&N with an outerware

noting at all wrong with running just the filter provided you ride in dry conditions and as long as you run an eliminator kit that supports the assembly. i'd also suggest that you use a uni dual stage foam filter to prevent dirt contamination.:cool:
