little problem

hey guys. I went out today the first time in about a month, rode for a few hours and noticed that my 400 was cutting out and stuttering. Im trying to figure out if its because of the uni air filter I just put on. I didnt rejet or anything and all that the quad has is a dg slip on. Most of the stuttering was happening around quarter to half throttle in every gear.

Try putting the old filter on and see if the problem goes away. These engines are picky enough that even changing the style of the air filter can call for a rejet.

i had the same problem...i figured out that ther was dirty gas in it...see u if theres dirt in the tank:)

Yeah I figured that the chances of it being the filter were pretty high, Never thought about the gas but its definitely a possibility. I will try both and see if it runs better
