Stiff throttle??

Last fall i bought a 38mm A/S carb and ever since then the throttle has been way stiffer that i remember it being?! i put a new motion pro cable and even disasembled the thumb throttle housing and lubed everything w really good grease. Has anyone else had this prob?

yes, Buying a new cable and keeping it clean and well lubed is a must, I put a trx90 lever on the stock trx250R throttle (many people had told me to do this- thx ) and cut down the carb spring about 2 coils- many argue against cutting the spring and say to sand it to take down the diameter vs the length(cutting). I can say that it made the pull/push much lighter. before I was having severe issues of thumb cramping and post race thumb stiffness and soreness.
