After more than a good month of testing the ChassisInc arms we have gotten our updated setup. There were several changes made from the original setup. Another inch was added to each side, 1 inch tubing is now used with .125 wall thickness, tube gussets are now used, a slight change in the bend was made, an extra tube gusset was added to help with flex, outer heim joints for the arms rated at 32,000 pds. Old ones were only 9,000. Inner heims for the arms and heims for the tie rods rated at 16,000pds. Old ones were 8,000. This setup has let me soften the suspension up and it seems the shocks are more cush than before. Big race tomorrow so vids will be up soon. We also received our Stem from ChassisInc but won't mount it til next week. Lew has done an OUTSTANDING job and if you haven't put your order in... :ermm:

There were some things in terms of the way the bike handled that I thought could be better. After Lew made the original arms and once we got them we both had other ideas we wished we would have done. After mounting the arms and testing them we decided to make the changes as it would help the bike handle even better. One thing in particular was the original arm was only .065 thickness. I had Lew to set these up with the same materials used on the 450's by Laeger, Gibson, etc... Example: The heims are even stronger than what some companies use at 28,000 pds rating and the wall thickness is thicker than others as they are .095 thickness.

These will work with the stock shocks as they're 12inches but are designed for 13 inch shocks. The mounting points are no different than the Typhoons stock arms ;) . These arms will go for $649.00 or you can get the arms with the stem for $749.00. The stem seperately will run $139.00. He thought about doing $549.00 with the smaller heims but decided he didn't want those on the setup. The price for the better heims run $350.00 by themselves.

The arms work awesome! This was the 1st time Jam really got to put time on the new setup. I need to stiffen the front just a tad to get it on par with the rear. Also, I need to slow down the rebound on the rear shock as well. The footage is not very good for some unknown reason but you can see the arms working in the slow mo parts of the vid going across the whoops. This is the only part on the track where I could get any footage of the setup working.
