I just use a drift or screwdriver and pound it out. Just make sure to first remove the snap ring. Then I use a socket and pound the new one in. Been so long since I did one if I'm miising something somebody will chime in.

I replaced mine two weeks ago. Very straight forward.
Disassembly:
1 Take out the spacer (by the bottom dust seal)
2 remove the top and bottom dust seals
3 remove the snap ring
4 pound out the bearing through the top from the bottom. I used a deep well socket to get the bearing out.

Assembly:
1 install bearing so it is flush (use socket). Used Bel-Ray waterproof grease on the top and bottom side of the bearing once installed. Not a bunch, just enough to coat
2 put in snap ring
3 install grease seals and spacer and your done.

While you have the steering stem out, you may want to check the condition of your steering stem bushing. You can still get these through OEM.
