I used JB weld on mine. Just put a real thin coat around the outside of the bell then pushed the adapter on. I was not worried about ever getting it back off, and I know it won't come off!

If you use silicone, make sure it is fuel resistant. If you ever roll the quad and fuel runs out of the carb, fuel will disolve some types of silicone. If the silicone is gone, you no longer have a seal and dirt can get sucked in your motor.

I must be misunderstanding something are you putting this in between the rubber boots and the carb? if so why? what if you have to take carb out to clean. IM not understanding what your doing this for. If I should be doing this please let me know

yeah i will be epoxying the fcr adapter to the back of my carb so it will be long enough to reach the airbox hose, i'm not going to be epoxying the airbox hose to the fcr adapter, i have a clamp for that, hope that makes sense
