For anyone that has a/c in their enclosed trailer, what did you use to insulate it? I just bought a portable one yesterday. It works good but I know I can get it colder if I insulated it

There are sheets of foam insulation you can buy at Home Depot......insulate your trailer with that - walls and roof - it will help a lot!

x2...you can get it from Lowes/HomeDepot in usually 1/2"-1" thick. Works great.

Check out some RV and motorhome forums if you really want to get into it. I'm sure there are some good sites around. But that sheet insulation 400grl and YOURADHERE suggested sound perfect since its not messy and super light.

I ended up using fiberglass insulation in the walls, and f 3/4" foam for the ceiling, I had about $75 in materials and I think it will work out well. It was getting very chilly and very windy here, was probably 70 or so inside and 60 outside. I cant wait for the next hot day to try it out. Took awhile... These things are not designed to be taken apart!

I used foam rubber, I got from Hobby Lobby that was 2” thick and about 6 feet long and three feet wide. I think it works much better then Styrofoam because it keeps the sound down much better. Yes it was more money but I like it better especially when it's raining, before I insolated it you could not even here the TV when it was raining. I have a 6x6x12 with a 3000 btu window unit and It works just fine. For $99.00 it was way cheaper then the 600.00 dollar roof unit.
