'01 Scrambler 50 a decent quad?????

I'm looking to get my son off the xtreme 50 and on something name brand. Is the Scrambler 50 a decent mini? I found one in really great condition for $850 OBO.

we have a 02 scrambler 50 and other than the battery being replaced and the factory electric start button not working everything has been good.we just bypassed the factory switch and installed a toggle on the side.my son rode it for about 4 years and now my daughter rides it.good luck if you buy it and let me know how you make out.

The price seems a little high to me for a stock bike. We just bought an 05 predator 50 for $800 and it had hardly been rode. The tires still had most the little strings sticking off of them.

It ended up being pretty rough. The guy said it was in great shape with no problems. We get there to check it out and the electric starter doesn't work, the seat cover has a giant hole and the fender mounting tabs are all broke and the plastic flopped around bad. It was roached out!!!!!!!!
