Here's my 2010 mx race quad. It's a Laeger narrow CR500 rear 250R. It has a +4 protrax and PEP shocks front and rear. It has a lot of Baldwin stuff on it.

Can you list your setup? engine mods, pipe and silencer, gear setup, etc. Just curious for personal info. I'm working on getting my R ready to race also.

This quad has a stock cylinder midrange ported and set up for race gas. The carb is a 38 PWK Airstryker. The pipe is an ESR TRX5 that doesn't fit that frame very well. The silencer is a standard Curtis Sparks model. The gearing is 14-38 with 18 inch rear tires. Let me know if you need any more info or if you need setup advice.

Bike looks good. My ESR doesnt fit my frame very well either.

That's not weird at all. You have a different frame and a different pipe. :huh

I dont know why a differnt 250r frame would make it fit any different...

Not only is my frame a Laeger frame, it's not a stock geometry frame. While not as different as my Roll Design chassis, it still has different dimensions with the frame tubing. With the front end being narrower than stock, the area for the pipe to fit in front of the cylinder is narrower as well. Some pipes fit, others not so much. Laeger even curved the frame tubes near the bottom for more clearance, but this pipe still doesn't fit well. I can get pics if you want.

Well i learned something new. I didnt figure the changes in an aftermarket frame would be enough to make a pipe fit weird. But then again when i start thinkin, the first bend in the pipe is in a pretty tight spot. sorry for wasted posts...

I still have the Roll. It's freshly redone and ready to go but I've decided to race this Laeger this year for a change of pace. I might end up racing the Roll, too. I'm always changing my mind. Lol.

Yuck. Yuck.

Anyways, the PEP shocks on the Laeger go out tomorrow for a much needed rebuild.

A few small tweaks and changes and it will be ready to go.
