I like how creative you got with that top mount. How much did you mod the tank to fit those bars like that?

Ive never seen one in a 450r before. How'd the chain line up? That and the kickstart were my biggest issues

I'm sure you were meaning were it aligns up compared to the original 450 height is exact!! it is a 1/8" more forward than the 450 i now know how to make it exact but it will be the next one go figure (brain storm after). as for the kicker i will post more pics later. one set up was OK but needed to improve (it was have A%% i did not like)

I meant left/right alignment on the chain. I had to use a ds450 sprocket hub on a custom axle with the sprocket on the inside, along with shaving my carrier down, and flipping my front sprocket, and its still just enough off that it wears the rear sprocket a little more on one side. The kickers on these bikes have such long stroke, its really difficult to get it right, thats for sure.

Whew! Lucky....
How about that kicker? I had to make an extended knuckle, and it actually bottoms out on my footpeg about 3/4 through the stroke. Its not ideal, but it starts just fine, so I'm happy with it. The brake lever is the only piece I'm still playing with.

^^^^ was saying carb now comes out to the left side instead of the right side and mates up to the stock 450r air box

Ya I know what you mean. I built two frames, one to mess around with to figure it out, and another as a final copy. Do you have any gearing planned out for desert?

Right now I have 14/44 gearing with 22x10x8 10 paddle extremes. The gearing is too tall for them though. Once I hit 4th gear its too fast to be safe. I tried some 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers 2 weeks ago, and they were lots of fun. I got high centered a lot on the technical rutted out hill climbs at the oregon dunes, but the speeds, and power matched very well. I still prefer the 22's however, for the massive amount of traction. I'm going to try to drop a tooth in the front next and see how I like it.
