should oil be on the crank cr250r?

when i took the top end off the motor i got coolant in it so i poored oil in the case to clean it out:rolleyes: but i never even thought about it being dry in there. does the mixed gas lube the bottom end or is it ok to put oil in it. i'm wondering cause it stayed in there when the clutch cover was off and it no drain:(

Yes, the crank is part of the intake cycle, it gets lubricated with the oil you mix with the gas. That's the whole reason you have to mix oil with your gas (or premix)

so that is bad that i poured a whole bottle of gear oil in it lol:ermm: do i just clean it out with gas?

Just turn it over and let it drain.

i ley it drain then put mixed gas in and poured it out so i should be good to go, thanks
