clutch adj.

i have a 04 yfz and i put a new clutch and cable in and i have a ez adjust perch. my question is when the perch adj. is all the way in i have a lot of slop in the cable and i have to adj. it all the way out to get it to work,but it still wants to go when i put it in gear any ideas thanks

Follow the clutch cable down under the gas tank, there is another barrel adjuster down there that will take out the slack.
