Long storage

I need a few tips on how to store my quad. I'm being deployed to Afghanistan for 14 months and I really don't want to sell my quad. What would be the best way to let the quad sit for this long period of time? It will be stored in a shed in my parents backyard that is not climate controlled so it will be subject to temp changes. I'm def going to remove the battery and drain the tank and carb anything else?

Remove battery and fuel tank, run carb dry.

I had mine sitting for many months like this and no issues after I went out to start it up it fired right up.

maybe buy a battery tendor to plug the batter into in the garage after u remove it so when u come home the battery wont go to **** on u :)
