Most everyone is going to say fcr. I guess the edelbrock is hard to dial in. This is not from experience, just from what I have read.

I have had the eldebrock and could not get it to work right, even took it to a couple of shops and they couldnt get it to run right either. I wouldnt waste your money on it.

Yeah, it's actually kinda crazy how many people have had terrible experiences with the Edelbrock carb.

Stick with the FCR. The Edelbrocks are odd, its not that they are hard to tune, the adjustment on them is very simple, plus the accelerator pumps are pretty big, but they just never seem to be "just right". I had one on my hybrid, and it ran good, but only from half throttle and up. I tried adjusting the pump, and changing the needles, but nothing helped it. Starting was very hit and miss with it as well.
I would not use one. However, I have had very good experiences with Lectron carbs, if you are interested in those.

Lectrons are easily the fastest and cheapest to tune. Since they don't have jets, that big bag or jar of jets in your garage won't be necessary, and they are actually really high performance carbs. You should at least look into them, I don't think you'll be dissapointed
