banshee running like crap

just started to do this it is 40 over,cool head .pipes,jet kit ,tors elim.,v force reeds,boost bottle. problem,it will idle fine,but when you ride it and give it gas it just sputters and has no power any ideas.


also put new plugs in,clean filter,and the boost bottle looks fine,still runs crappy

try putting on the choke on the first knotch and see if it runs better or worse. better= to lean, worse=to rich. specifcally what kind of jet kit did you install?

tryed pulling choke out ,does not change. i will try to clean carbs ,will keep posted on how it goes

ok cleaned carbs,started and it runs awesome with choke pulled out half way. do i need bigger main jets i have 270 right now,should i put 290 or 300 jets in

try 275 or something like that and play with your needle.

ok put 290 main jets in needle is 2notch from bottom ,still runs good with chock pulled out about 1/8 inch do i still need to go bigger on main jets

try going the whole way down on the needle if that works you need to go up a jet. Go up one jet and start with the clip in the middle and see how it works.

310 mains clip 2 from top and when you start it ,it wants to rev to the moon ,pull the choke and it idles down and when i push choke back in it revs again

you sound lean on the needle i would go to the 4th clip down and see if it runs better . if you go to the 6th clip down you would probably be to rich.you want your plugs to look like a beer bottle dark chocolate color.
