oil brand?

What is a type of oil that will be good to run in a kfx450r? Type and viscosity. Will it mess up the oil pump if the oil is too thick?

In the warmer months run a heavy weight like 20-50. and in the colder months run a 10-40. Even if you ran the 10-40 all year round wouldn't hurt the machine either.

I don't ride in extreme cold.

we run the klotz oil it works good for us and the klotz smell is a bonus
