2010 AMA ATV Motocross Nationals #3 - Birch Creek - Live ATV Race Coverage

Danville, VA - Round 3 of the AMA ATV Motocross Nationals heads to Birch Creek in Danville, VA, but unfortunately, this track has the worst cell phone service of any track on the circuit, so updates are very difficult to receive from the race.

We will do our best to provide live race coverage from the Pro Motos.

Mushin Racing's Cody Gibson should be back for this round, but with such a short recovery period, he may not be back to 100% yet.

Someone asked in another forum what was up with Joe Byrd because he did not practice yesterday. Byrd had a pretty nasty crash earlier this week while practicing and is riding with an injury to his ribs.

yeah, he is pretty disappointed as the same thing happened to him this time last year.

I need to check into satellite service and see what it would cost. I know we used to provide them for our IT folks who were in critical positions and going on cruises on vacation or personnel going into Africa or Afghanistan.

Interesting thing is you get better data service than cell service. I could text yesterday but couldn't make a call except from Onstar in my truck.

What a race!

In moto 2....Wimmer lost his seat a few laps in. I knew a seat was off but couldnt see who's it was until I got home and pulled up my pictures.

That seat doesnt come off, Wimmer takes moto 2 IMO.

Heartbreaker for Upperman....his quad died right in front of me. He handled it alot better then I would have but if its mechanical it can break:p
