what's the difference (visual) between a stock trx 04-05 and a hrc 04-05 ??
is that written Hrc on it ?
if someone can add pic that we see the difference it will help me alot

The picture shows a 04/05 HRC cam. Notice the three grooved rings on the end of the cam. The stock 04/05 cam has two rings. Hope this helps.

None of those... It's an HRC.

isn't the hrc a mid to top range cam? making it similar to stage 2

Hotcam has a stage 1,2 and 3

Honda has the early HRC cam (04/05) and the Late HRC cam (06&up) same as the 02 CRF cam. There are a bunch of combos you can do with the Honda cams, CRF and TRX.

The Early HRC (04/05) is an all around with good mid and good top end on the 04/05, lacks some bottom.

The Hotcam stage 2 and the HRC are similar but I think the HRC has more top end.

^^ Actually ^^ The HRC is a great easy on the valve train cam.

All the hotcam, HRC and CRF cams are easy on the valve train. No modifications needed. Drop in and go.

Some of the bigger cams like Web need new valves and heavy springs.
