1. find a big hill (or someone to push you from behind)
2. pull in clutch in 2nd or 3rd gear and get some momentum built up
3. dump the clutch out and wait for the motor to fire
4. pull in clutch and listen to it purr

This may not work the best if you are having trouble getting it running as it is...more of a last resort if your battery dies. If it wont idle, change your pilot jet to a #42 or so.

Only if you pull it behind someones bike. Get a k&n filter and jet kit. It makes a big difference.

jet kits are a waste of money imo, just buy the jets seperate. As someone else said, get a #42 pilot and you might wanna richen everything else up in case you ever get a exhaust or filter. Check out the faq section and you should be able to find out eveyrthing you need to know.

so for bump starting just get pulled by another quad put it in 2, and pull in the clutch and when you get going let it out and it will start?....do you have to give it gas or anything ?thanks

lol pretty much but you don't have to have it in 2nd to then pull in the clutch and let it out again. Basically start of in neatral and have a bike tow you and then shift up a gear or 2 into 2nd or 3rd and let out the clutch and it should start. Its pretty easy.

:huh it will start without hitting the start button you'll end up messing somthing up if you keep doin that it's like hitting the starter while the motor is running if you have sombody pulling you

well when mine wont start, first i check the plug then if thats all good i let the quad roll down a hill (with me on it), and i hit the start button and then i hit the gas, usually i have to do this a few times but then it works eventually and then i just take off

another thing, make sure u have gas to start with and that ur fuel thingy is turned ON

there's something called priming it. i just learned about this a couple days ago. you hit the gas 3 or 4 times before you start it so you have gas in your carburator(sp?). i fouled a plug on the 400. it is really hard to start in the cold. i was riding with this Warrior one day and his kept dieing when he was riding and wouldn't start. so we had to bump start him. worked every time.
