Its a really cool game. Pretty expensive. I wouldnt recommend it unless your a very committed sim racer.

The competition is intense. Theres a safety rating system, and based on that, and your lap times, your put into a race with guys similar to you, so its always guaranteed close racing. They have different classes for different cars, a bunch of different laser scanned tracks, accurate to within 2mm.

Let me know if you sign up! i could use the $10 credit's at sign up :p

nr03 is better for oval, terrible for road racing.

I'm a road guy so i much prefer iracing, and i enjoy the updates that it gives a lot more too.

EDIT: and the only reason it may be considered better for oval, is because its oval only, and has been out much longer with a more committed community. In my opinion the physics, and overall feel of oval in iRacing surpasses NR2003's.

Did you ever get NR2003 working? It is a long process but worth it. Sometimes it is a pain to t get it to work. I just downloaded it myself last night and it took a while to get it to work.

Lots of programs to go aound the cd key and a virtual drive so you dont have t use a cd to play the game. Let me know if you need any help. I can show you the links to do it step by step.

I am gonna be running in a leauge races series with alot of people around the country. We will be running a full points series as well.

I just see having to pay for it. But the leauge I run 2003 in, is starting a race in iracing. So I might end up racing some on it but I am not sure yet.

NR2003 is just to much fun and I have not spent a penny on it

Iracing doesnt have to be expensive. You can pay 7 bucks a month for the membership, then race the select few cars you want, and pay 12 for the car and 12 for some of the tracks you want. It's expensive when you try to race both oval and road, like in my case :p
