i was issued a ticket/summons this morning (4/30/10). the date to appear is court is written down as 3/24/10.. wtf? can i get this dismissed?

you missed your court date and there is a warrant out for your arrest....your going to jail

would i be able to get the charges dismissed because of that mistake?

i mean i dont even know when im supposed to show up for court or anything. its a pretty major mistake to be that far off on the court date.

Just call the court house and see what they say. The main thing is stay on top of it so things don’t get worse. I think you can get that dismissed if there is an error like that.
If you do nothing then a warrant will be issued and then the error won’t matter.

I’ll bet it’s a mistake or the number 5 just looks like a 3 to you, he may have sloppy hand writing.
