I have a Houser 250r frame made for a YZ426F motor. The motor I bought it with had the oil block off kit installed. I'm currently putting in a 2007 YFZ450 motor. The oil tank for that motor is way bigger then what the mounts on the frame are. Which oil tank is supposed to be in this chassis? YZ426? 400ex?

yz426fs run the oil through the frame. if your mounting a yfz motor in it y not just make a custom oiltank while ur at it?

I have no problem making my own stuff, I just noticed it has mounts for one and I was wondering what will fit there, otherwise ill make my own mounts since i have the correct tank for that motor

the 400ex oiltank is sort of offset like that. could be what would fit but not 100 percent on it. measure center to center on the holes and ill measure the 400ex tank i have in my garage

the houser YZF frames were built to accept the 400ex oil tank.

Thank you guys. Will the bottom oil line bolt right into the 400ex tank?

Thanks guys guess I need to buy one. Did everyone just use the lines that come from the oil tank, and attach them to the 450 motor?
