300ex cylinder on 250x

hey guys quick question would the 300ex cylinder match up on the 250x ??? i was told the cylinder bore was the same on both bikes just the 300ex had a longer crank , my buddy wants a big bore for his 250x but id thought id see if the 300ex cylinder would be good enough to throw on there if it fits , thanks

ya they are the same, throw one on

they are the same so this will not make it a big bore.

that's correct it will not make it a big bore the stroke on a 250x is 57.3mm and the 300ex is 65.5mm

okay thats what i thought , so if i wanted to go big bore on the 250x what would you guys recomend

i think someone makes a 310 or 330 kit or somethin like that
