walklin down the street to the local bar to get a soda and a candy bar after school today and i saw one of those hyped up mowers that they use in tractor pulls and such... well this drunk comes outta the bar and pushes it backwards... pops the hood, kick starts it then hops on.... hes goin about 10 - 15 and im like wut a poser cuz it dint even sound fast... he evidently heard me... well the guy pulls in the clutch (db engine, with a pipe runnin back from the shift lever to shift, and a clutch lever mounted on the wheel next to the truckers knob...) and revs it up via a foot pedal on the right side and pops it.... it stood up about a foot or so rode it about 10 ft. then when he shifted it went bk down... he pry hit 45 - 50 by the end of the road... hopefully i can do that with my pimp golf cart when its done <<< its my winter project>>>> sorry for the long post just thought this was quite funny,,, u had to b there:D LMAO

i have seen lawn mower races, with suped up mowers...they are wicked fast and look like tons of fun.....no mower decks, just suped up lowered, looks like the shift with their hand, while reaching towards the engine?....there are a few people at my school that have relatives that race lawn tractors....then there are the people like 2fastandfurious, who beat the crap outta their craftsman........doing stuff like this.....
http://www.witek.net/images/benmonsterwhellie.jpg

....then he tried to start it this winter, the front end started on fire, and his dad yelled at him to flip it over, and that was the end of that mower.....it worked really well for a while....mowed grass, pulled trailers full of dirt for ramps, and went off the ramps nicely.....only one time did ben flip it doing a wheelie, and we had to save him(he was on an incline:rolleyes: ):devil good times:huh :D

Ya lawn mower racing is awsome! I have been looking for a good mower without a motor... but its so hard to find a good conditioned one without the motor... I had a 340cc twin 2 stroke to put in it.... I gave it away to another sled... Donner... :D If I ever find a good mower body I will have another engine for it though... I have a 500cc twin 2 stroke now... :devil

don't waste a 500cc twin on a lawnmower! Put it to better use!

saw a guy at a swap meet one time. He had a lazy boy recliner in the recline position. mounted to a platform on wheels. Briggs & Stratton lawn mower mounted under the recliner(you could see it from the back side of the chair). The steering wheel came up between the seat and the foot rest between his legs. The ultimate in swap meet cruising comfort!
