Well its been a while since I have done anything with my hybrid. She sat in the garage for the past 8 months after I lost a chain. Decided to fix it up and throw some new parts on. What do ya think?

you really did a great job. people always seem to have trouble with this hybrid.

how is the power? i sometimes find my 250r not getting into the powerband through the woods...

I cut out the tubes where the old 400ex motor mounts were and the tubes that ran from behind the upper a-arms to the top near the shock mounts.

The power is great, even better now that I can put it down. I really didn't want to switch to the 20's but they hook up so so much better. This thing is way faster in every way now.

Hopefuly she will last a full season this year without too many problems.

How did you take care of the vibrations. Everything I read about cr500's in a quad frame is that they rattle it to death. I wanted to do one sometime but the vibration issue kept me back. Looks sweet though man.

I was just looking at your CR500 Hybrid and that thing is sick! I always thought that if you could counterbalence a CR500 motor that it would be a great motor to run in a HondaTRX 250r hybrid frame or the 400ex hybrid frame that you have. what type of frame is that? That is an aftermarket frame isn't it? Well nice man!

Thanks guys, its a stock 400ex frame that has been modified extensivly. I have had three different motor mount set ups now and this is by far the best. The vertical tubes in front of the motor cut down on vibration a lot, the only thing that has craked from vibration is the exhaust mount, you can see the new mount in the pictures. I have ridden this thing on full day long trips, about 6 hours worth of ride time. It does not numb my hands or anything, vibration is noticeable at higher rpms but really not an issue. Thats not to say it hasn't been a ton of work, its going on its 4th season now and i have had my share of problems thats for sure. I put it up for sale but im not even sure i want to sell it. I bought a ktm 505sx which im loving but its still not evel close to being as quick as this thing and is still geared way higher. Im thinking i need to keep it just to shut those raptor guys up who think 700 means nothing can touch it.
