i have a stage 2 hot cam, 11:1 piston bored to 416, bills full exhaust, k&n air filter, brand new bottom end and im thinkin about adding a tooth to my front sprocket but i don't want to lose alot of torque.....but will you even notice the torque loss?

actually you get off the line faster with the bigger sprocket. i put a 15 on my 05 (14 is stock) and still have the stock 39 on the back. it didnt have any noticeable drop in toqrue but is harder to pull out till you get used to it. do it to it

did you lose any top end?

you gain top end when you go bigger in the front or smaller in the back. but you lose a small amount of bottom end for each size you change

hello. I have just recently changed the front sprocket to a 15 tooth. I did that because I drag race mine. I could pull people out of the hole 2 or 3 bike links, then they would catch me on top end. The bigger front sprocket helps on top end alot better, and then it seems to pull harder. I start in second and it still dont bog with the bigger sprocket. So I would say zero power loss...
