a kinda local flat track is having an open practice night for quads and bikes. i would like to go give it a shot but was wondering what to change to get it to handle the best without buying anything but tires, and what size?

i was thinking to lower it as much as possible and stiffen it up a bit?

you want to change your front sprocket one tooth bigger and you want low profile tires as littleside wall as possible . in the front run your outside tire a little bigger there are differen sizes if your only doing once dont spend much use one stock front and an 19 or 20 on the in side and 18 in rears would be fine

thats cool. i was just trying to buy a set of tires and change my suspension setting a little. if it is that much fun i might try to fund another set of shocks and all that but for now i didnt want to spend a ton of money.

i could be wrong but i thought flat track racers always have super soft socks...if you tighten them up i think it would want to come up on two wheels in the turn but i could be wrong

yeah after thinking about it you are prolly right. i thought it might help with the body roll thou having air shocks and no sway-bar.

i have never really thought about doing any flat trackin but it sure does sound fun. i might just convert.

without getting into suspension changes, tires are really all you can do.

I raced flat track for several years but got sick of going in circles to the left. It actually gets pretty boring after awhile.

This will be my first season racing supermoto. The best of both worlds.

this is my new build.
