how much will it cost for '08 400ex new

looking to buy my daughter a new 400ex, dealership has some left over 07's but I'm not crazy about the "old school 450r plastics"

cant seem to find info on the 08's
(websites only show 09 and 2010)

I want to go in with a little knowledge
so I come out with a fair price

what should it cost me ?

my buddy just picked up a 2008 400ex from a dealer in oregon for 4899 brand new . dont like the look of it tho , im a fan of the 450r look , good luck finding one

I have located two dealers that will come down to 4750

think I will hold out and see if I get a call back with a better price

Don't be afraid to looks at used ones. I just can't see paying that much for a new 400 when a slightly used one could be had for $1k -$2k less.

Hey! I bought mine at new years of 08, and got it for $5500. I have no clue on what it would be for one now. I am a fan of the new plastics. I think they look really nice. They are unique. But I do have pics of mine with a lot of aftermarkets. So follow these links. I have new tires on now :p

yeah I like the new style plastics, yours looks cool

Im going to call the arizona place tomorrow and see what
"hiden" fees are and the place in grandview said they would price match
so maybe I can save a little on shipping it to kansas

me too, new style is my favorite then the old school with two round headlights, just not crazy about the first gen 450r look

(didnt like the 04/05 450r either, headlight looks like a womans plastic bra lol)

still @ 4750 best price for '08

i bought my 07 400ex new last year for 3499. And it was about 4k out the door. i got warranty on it.

So you must have paid like 3599 (sticker price) for your 08 to only be 4k out the door. what dealership and where?

may 26 is my daughters b day and we are going to little sahara oklahoma 2nd weekend in june

be really sweet if she could be on a brand new quad

(also, anyone know if the r4 slip on from her 99 will bolt to the 08)

search is over, paid 4500 for new 2008 black/white 400ex

daughter flipped out, she had no idea.....

going to dunes in couple weeks, should be one of her funnest trips ever

I bought the bike from Beaverton Honda . It was the last one that they had. They got it from a dealership that went out of business. It had no front bumper or owners manual, but I talked to the sales manager and he gave me both for no charge.I just happen to be there at the right time.
