450r Carb

Just got an offer to buy a 450R carb at a very good price. Does 80 shipped sound like it might be too good to be true. It is from a 05 450r. He said it is in perfect working condition. From the pm he seems like a good person to deal with.

I have to pay with M/O because I dont use paypal. I just want to make sure before I send the $$$. I am on a super tight budget and every $ counts right now.

That sounds about right.When I got mine is was 60 shipped and came with everything except the throttle cable.See if it has the hot start parts in it because those will run you about another 25 from Service Honda if you are following ZR's install thread.

80 shipped seems to be a fare price, even better if you can get the hot start with it.

sounds good to me. I think i paid around 135 for the throttle cable, assemby, and carb. I had to get the hot start and jets to finish it off so i would say that i am around 170 total for the deal. but you can use the stock assembly with the 450r cable so that is not a neccessary evil to deal with. follow zrpilots thread and you will be set. steve

That sounds about right. It ran me 100.00 for the carb, cable, and hot start.

Sound pretty good, you will be in it for a lil more if you have to buy the hot start plunger, cable, but still a decent price. I have about 80 in mine..

I paid $70 shipped for mine. Came with the throttle cable and assembly, but I had to buy the HRC hot start kit and all the stuff for jetting.

You do not need to buy the hotstart pieces if you are on a tight budget.

You can plug the holes and it will work just fine.

I would say that just about anyone who tries to seal it off without the hot start has problems but some guys have had good luck as john has. steve
