could i fit a 2005 trx450 that is 50 in. wide in a standard size bed of a ranger..i already know that i couldnt with a short bed.

me and my dad put my stock width YFZ in his all the time. we just have to lift it over the wheel wells. should fit no problem.

When I had a long bed ranger my stock width 400ex would not fit between the wheel wells. I never took the time to lift the front end over them, I just rammed it through. It modified the wheels wells itself, lol.:rolleyes:

My EX fits perfectly in the back of my 99', it's 48" wide in the back, I ride it over the wheel wells. A 50" wide quad would fit no problems, as long as the Ranger isn't a step side.

My Ranger is a short box and I can close the tailgate and have about 1" to spare, even with the 21's on the back and the +1 1/4 swinger.

I haul my 50" wide LT-R in a 98 ranger short bed. I ride into the truck on ramps and kinda jump the fenderwells. Fits like a glove and tailgate closes easy.
