Does anyone know how many teeth are on a 300ex rear sprocket (stock)??

If I remember right, Sidewinder can make whatever size sprocket you want for your machine.

Note: Going with a higher tooth rear sprocket will reduce the clearance that the sprocket/chain will have with your skid plate. Unless you are going with rear tires taller than 22"s, I can not see a need to go higher than a 38 tooth rear sprocket on a 300ex.

What will a 12 tooth do to the gearing. Bottom and top end. I am only considering because of a case saver issue. I am looking into fabricating a Aluminum case saver. And I think I need more room in there for clearances.

You will find that if you go with a 12T or smaller the chain will out faster. The reason for this that it is making a smaller circle and will cause more wear on the pins. Sproket Specaties will make any size sproke that you want and they might be cheaper than Sidewinder.

I got my 12T front for my 88R today from sidewinder and it was $50 with two day shipping;)
