Trx hardly any spark.. not firing

ok so im still having this damn problem after two months of working on it i have no idea why it will not fire. .. My dad says there is not enough spark, what does a good spark look like ie anyone have a picture of it? and here is what i have done

Changed plug..
Cdi..
Stator..
Fuses..
Has gas..
has power..
has compression (not sure on exact number)
chugs like it always did,,,
Kill switch works.. (turn it off, no spark turn it on spark.)
..key is on..
i am at my breaking point with this trx ..

i had the same problem (well have the same problem) i tested my spark plug and it had a weak spark my dad thought 2 but i looked at 3 other 400 ex and they were all the same as mine it's not really that big and if he is used to car sparks then yea it looks tiny.

but it sounds like u might have the same engine problem i have maybe a i think it is something with the valves.

i would also get a psi on the compression b/c some friends of mine were telling me to just put my finger over it and see if it plows it of which will only tell me that there is no compression not if it has low compression it should have a belive 100-130 psi but the manual says when hot so maybe a little less when cold

edit: or it could be a bad timeing tensionor or bad timing key
