having issues...need suggestons

i have been riding and it seems like my clutch lever is pulling really hard would this maybe be because i have a 2003 and i need a new cable?

also

after rebuilding my engine my reverse is sticking. so i can get it in to reverse but then to get it out i need to take something and push the metal rod where the reverse cable goes in, back into the motor?

any help would be awesome!!!!!

Definitely time for a new cable. Mine broke the other day and when I removed it I could pull it in and out by hand, it was a little stiff but not too bad. I put the new cable on and couldn't believe the difference, it only takes half the pull to disengage the clutch now. I think it only cost about $10 from my dealer.

Edit: Just noticed the z400 clutch cable is closer to $20, still cheap insurance though.

Cool thanks! Probably time for a new reverse cable too.

For the reverse make sure you didnt move the reverse cable around, it could be it too tight of a curve and it makes it hard like that.
