I want to remove all of the lights from my ex while I am at it I also want to remove all of the related switches along with it.

I guess I could get by with a standard momentary switch and hard wire the on/off red switch and just use the key to turn the bike off.

It already has a saftey kill switch installed.

Should I remove all of the wiring harness associated with the lights or leave them in just taped up neatly.

Any links to a switch that may work would be greatful and maybe bikes with something close would be great as well.

does anywhere sell the plate that hold the switches like the one shown in the picture on this link.

I want to keep the starter switch on the bars itself but I want a swith with a clamp that will mount up.

decided to use this switch. http://www.motopartsmax.com/index.php/main_page/product_info/products_id/11451

So instead of having that huge stock switch assy. That is gonna be the only switch on the actual handle bars. Well except for the pull tether kill switch.

most people use a kx kill switch if they want to use them for a starter button since it fits nice. but the two switches you have listed are some cool looking switches that will work too. all you have to do with the switches is decide which ones you want to keep and dont cut them. lol. just make sure if you hook up the switches you hook them up correctly. some are normally open and some are normally closed so make sure to use the correct ones and hook them up either in line or grounded. to hook up a normally open switch you ground them, the normally closed ones are usually in line. it all depends on which one you are dealing with. lol. sorry i cant help you any more than that on the switches. there are a few different setups that can be used to move lights and such to the bar mounts if you like. steve
