Well im pretty damn upset right now, i had +2 on my bike, trying to sell them. I got the damn thing all apart all the bolts off etc and could not for the life of me get the stupid *** ball joint to pop out of the hub assembly.. and theres 4 of them! I rented a tie rod end puller wasnt enough clearence to use it, used a ball joint fork thing, and it will not pop out. Im not trying to beat it to hell or rip the boots so i dont know what to do?!?!

Use a socket that just slips over it and a hammer.

i tried that a bit too, but with the nut on the end of it, even then it wouldnt budge and theres not much room to even get a full swing with a hammer

I just used a ball joint splitter. I didn't care if I messed up the boots but I managed to get them off without tearing them anyways. That video from rustyATV looks like a pretty neat way to do it as well and will save the boots. I've watched some of his other videos, dude knows his stuff. He also posts on here.

Put the nut back on the ball joint stud, Make it flush with the end of the stud so none of the top threads are exposed.

Hammer away...

Maybe add heat if needed.

hit the steering knuckle with a hammer in a few different spots and it pops right off. the vibration is what loosens the ball joint. i have +2 lsr a arms and works every time. u can use a hard rubber malet if your worried about denting it. no one sees it so it doesnt really matter.

Good way to mess up the threads..

keep the arms mounted on the bike, use PBR blaster (or any penatrating liquid), rubber mallet, and keep the nuts on so you dont strip the threads. thats how i did it and it worked great! also heat should help you like they said.^

Easiest way is exactly described in that video posted, got them all off in under 5min, its recommended to anyone. hammering anything you still risk a headache with messed up threads, whether the nut is on or off. Luckily the tie rods are not pressed into anything just held on by the nut.

Spend the $1.50 and get the tool in the video, aka 3/8''-16x 1-1/8'' rod Coupling nut, and a 1'' 3/8'' bolt

I flipped the castle nuts wedge two sockets in between the ends and loosen the castle nuts they pop right out same principle as the video without the trip to home depot when one side pops out just get a longer socket for the other

Yep this is the way I do it and the easiest way to do it without damaging anything. Same concept as the video.

Pretty much everything you just said: Just flip the castle nuts over on the studs. Then take a big enough socket and a couple of washers and put it between the castle nuts. Back off the nuts towards each other until one side pops out. Then take two sockets, or a longer socket, and back off the remaining castle nut into them to get the last ball joint out (pic below illustrates this step).
