Carb hoses question

I I pulled the carb off my 05 400ex and I didn't see where the hoses came from. On the carb side they connect to a couple of ports on the driver side of the carb and feed into a Y to a single hose. Where does the single hose connect or route to?

On the service Honda site diagram its part # 40-45 on the carburetor fiche.

Surely someone can go look at their 2005 400ex and tell me? I believe they are air vents but not positive.
