ATTN: anyone who nows about online play on ps2

okay i have a ps2 and atv offroad fury 2. now, my question to you is, what do i need to get online and play people across the globe?

network adapter 40 bucks
keyboard (if u want to chat and u will) 19.99 or 0 if u have a USB cable. Then all u have to have is DIAL UP or DSL/Cable/Broadband. the adapter will come with a CD to set it up. Takes 5 mins tops

okay i use optimum online as my service provider. so basically, i need the keyboard and adapter?

My son just got his modem for his PS 2. He uses Compuserve ISP and is having trouble getting it to connect. He was saying somthing about it conflicts with AOL dial up # :confused:
Can anyone give me any hints.
