i just rebuilt my engine with a high comp piston and new cams. but i dont think the cams have anything to do with this. ive been hearing popping in the exhaust and i just found coolant in my oil. is that a blown gasket? or is there something else that could have gone wrong? it was my first rebuild so it could have gone terribly wrong

recently the water pump seal went out on mine that'll put coolant in the oil but if it wasnt doing this before the rebuild its not likely but i'd still replace it cuz its only 5 bucks. when my buddy rebuilt his LT-R he didnt torque the head bolts down enough which will do that too. i had a head gasket go out in my Raptor and it blew white smoke (burning coolant) you did use new gaskets rite?
