jetting question

what would you guys recommend for jetting on my 03 400ex. right now i have a 168 and 38 with a slip on, k&n and air lid on. this is how i bought the quad. i bought a aluminum air box that mounts the battery inside it and it has no lid. what do you guys recommend for jetting and air/fuel screw?

You have a 168 in a stock carb? That's WAY too big for the mods you have listed. Go with a 152 or 155 main, 42 pilot, needle in the middle and 2.5 turns on the f/a to start.

i went out and got the main jets but the dealership did not have pilot jets. i looked a little online but all the places i found wanted $7 for shipping. i think thats a little ridiculous shipping price for 1 jet. does anyone know a good place to find the 42 pilot jet?

Have the dealership order one. You may only need a 40 pilot with those mods. See if they have one of those. And you main jet is way too big. I run a 160 with my mods.
