Try taking them off altogether. I think you'll find you'll like it. Threw mine away along time ago.

its not about getting dirty, i just like the look with them on, the only thing i want is to know what size they are, not wether to keep them on or not. I bought them to put on not to keep in my basement. well if you took them off why don;t you sent me your bolts :D

Plus i wouldn't really call them mud flaps unless we had reverse, 98% of the mud will be flying out the back or onto the inner fender, and the front wheels have no flap which is the wheel that should be getting you the most.

I think more than anything they keep your foot/leg from falling in between the fender and the wheel.

Imagine slipping off the peg and running yourself over.
Yes it happens.
No it didn't happen to me, but I did notice ALOT more mud packed into my boots after riding without them.
I put mine back on for safety more than anything.

And I don't know the size either, I just grabbed whatever SAE bolt fit the hole and forced it through.
It made its own threads just fine. :D

I recently saw some on the web that were aluminum.
Althought he plastic ones are probably lighter the alum would look bad arse.

Are you sure its not item 16 or 17 ??

Item 15 is a special 6mm x 8mm long screw. You should be fine with just a regular 6mm x 8mm.

Item 24 is obviously a 6mm flange nut. You can use a regular 6mm nut with a washer and lock tight.

Good luck !!
Jason

Item 16 is a special 6mm x 20mm long screw, again use a regular 6mm x 20mm screw

Item 17 is not specified. have to guess its a 6mm x ?mm long. Item 16 may work in this location.

BOLT-WASHER (6X16) Its a 6mm x 16mm long.
its another on of those special things, but you can use a reg. screw and washer. I was gonna say, I would think they are all 6mm, just different lengths.
