I am looking to buy two new rear rims for my 2007 DS650 X. I was riding and bent the two OEM rims. Unfortunatley this is common on the DS 650's. The OEM rim metal seems to be a little soft for some reason. I was told that it weighs less.
I am looking for suggestions on what type of rims to buy? Not everyone makes rims for the DS650.
I was also told that you can use a diiferent width rim, is that true?
Will the tire actually beed to a wider or narrower rim?
Below is pictures of both rims.

not much to chose from. you can get 190 red labels, still but thats about all i found. thats why i switched to the 450 axel. used honda rims are easy to find. you can also have your rear hubs redrilled to fit honda rims. mod 3 .com has the plain ones for the ds . 4 difern't ones to chose from i think. as far as rim width, if you can get 10" wide . and you trail / rock ride alot i would stick with the 9" less likly to rub against a rock . and pop the bead.
