You need a spring Compressor or compress them by hand. Then ya just gotta take off the bottom part of the shock.

you can get them off with your hands...get your dad or a friend to help and they'll be off in a few minutes

here is what ya do. There are a few ways to do it. You can either measure where your preload nuts are then back them off until the springs are really loose and pretty much just flop around on there. Then the plate that the bottom spring sat on will get loose and u just take the little snap ring off, flip the shock over and the springs and plate will fall right off. Be careful and remember where your crossovers are so that way the shocks are set exactly to how u took them apart. Or the quickest way(if you have enough weight) Just flip the shock over again, but instead of backing the preload nuts off, just simply push the spring away from the plate and take the snap ring off. This usually requires 2 ppl, but can be done with one. Its kinda hard to explain but you will understand what i mean when u get the plate loose and see the snap ring. Its kinda scary to know that the only thing that holds your sprngs on is a tiny little snap ring:D

Hey pappy. How well does the powder hold up to the movement of the spring. Does your powder flex well without cracking?
