If you run brown long grain rice in it,,it should pull the trailer just fine....:o :devil

LOL.. And some NAWWZZZ shouldnt hurt either..

Check the towing capacity on the truck. The trailer with 2 (sport) quads will probably be just under 1500lbs, depending on the type of trailer.

You actually may tow better with one in the bed and one on the trailer.

Assuming you don't have a heavy arse trailer, you'll be fine. But if you have an extremly heavy trailer it may push your truck around.

Also, its not how much you can pull, its how much you can stop.

so if I carry my ex in my truck then carry my wifes mini tank on the trailer (just in case something would happen to the trailer it wont be my bike:devil ) I could get a 5x8 and I should not have any problem stoping with that right Doibugu2

the truck may pull it but i caution you on whether or not it can stop it... i have a '01 Pathfinder LE with the tow package. my trailer is a 8' x 12' landscaping type - 3900# axle with a weight of around 1000#s. even without a load, there is a very big difference in braking...

my brother-in-law has a full sized dodge ram and with 3 quads on the trailer and one in the back it is a seriously different drive. sure, you can do 70mph but if someone stops short in front of you...

"hello, insurance company..."

hope this helps

My buddy has a Nissian Fontier, basically the same size as yours I believe. We took that from Chicago to Hatfield McCoy no problem. One in the back of the bed and one on a 5x8 trailer. Plus gear and stuff.

You should also save a bit of money by buying a 5x8. Depending on what you buy, the 5x8 could be 1/2 the cost of a 6x10. Also, the 5x8 are a lot more common.

JUST GET ONE OF THOSE 5'X 13' TRAILERS WITH THE MESH BOTTOM. YOU RUN INTO A FEW PROBLEMS WHEN PULLING A 6' WIDE TRAILER WITH A SMALL TRUCK, IS MAKES THE WHEEL SPAN OF THE TRAILER MUCH WIDER THEN THAT OF THE TRUCK. I TRIED PULLING ONE LIKE THAT. I KEPT BUSTING TIRES AND DROPPING OFF THE ROAD. :D 5' FEET WIDE IS PEFECT FOR A SMALL TRUCK. I JUST ADDED A SET OF AIR SHOCKS TO MY TACOMA AND IT PULLS GREAT.

Me, I prefer a trailer wider than the truck, that way you can see it. Quit drinking and driving, you may drive straighter.

I can tell you from personal experience that you will have no problems. I have a V6 Tacoma and this summer I had a Sportsman 500 in the bed of the truck, and on my open 5x15 trailer I had one 400ex, two 300exs, and a 250x. I pulled it with very little noticeable loss of power. I felt completely comfortable pulling them the 40 miles to the riding area. Granted I was cautious but I didn't feel unsafe at all.

I have a 99 Tocoma v6 4x4, I pull my 5x10 trailer with it. The trailer is 800 or so pounds and the quad is 400 or so w/ fuel. Pulls pretty good. You wont win any speed records going up an incline, but if you get your foot into it before the grade, you stand a better chance.

Be sure to take it out of overdrive (if it's auto) when driving in town, slow or up a hill. Once you get to around 60-65, overdrive is fine.

Hey Glamis my tacoma is 5-speed I would not buy a auto tranny with a 4x4. I would only buy auto-tranny 4x4 if it was full size or a sub, tahoe ect. But I prefer manual trans.

I have a reg cab Tacoma with the 2.7 4-cyl. I put my wife's 250EX in the bed and my Z in a 6X8 trailer. It pulls it with no problem. It's well within the towing capacity for the Tacoma. It even handles alot better!

we used my dads chevy s-10 once. 4.3 litre 2wd. did the job. 1200 pound trailer. i 300ex,polaris 300 xplorer, yamaha kodiak. this is a 94 s-10 and we were gaining speed up hills. we were hauling *** too. still spun the tires with all thw weight in the trailer. you should be fine.
