feels like it is running hot is this normal or what can cause it

i think mine is running hotter then hell too i think its just in the jetting or maybe get a bit bigger oil tank dependin on your upgrades

because i sucked in mud throught the exhaust we had to go 40 0ver and i put a stage one hot cam in it.

what should the jetting be for this configuration

Did you torque the head gasket correctly. There could be a head gasket leak. Get a temp gauge for the oil dip stick and actually see what you are running. You may not be running hot.
