1/8th mile fastest atv?

hey im looking to run 1/8th mile next year not this summer when i get the funds im looking for the most affordable and fastest atv out their i wanna do over 100 400ex isn't fast enough any suggestions?

banshee, quadzilla 500, 250r those are probably the closest you will get but it will still need some major green backs to get 100 no matter what it is. a crotch rocket motor in a atv frame would be the best. steve

I would go with a 700 Raptor, but I'm not a drag racer by any means. The Raptor is just the fastest bike I've been on aside from a Banshee with a buch of work done to it, but I don't like 2-strokes.

im plannin on dropping like 5 grand into a 4 wheeler to start out see what happens

in that case banshee it is. get it bored, ported out, bigger carbs, 110 octane, get high comp domes, drag pipes, gear it up and let her fly! with 5 grand in a banshee it will scream for sure. steve

it may scream but how often do u have to replace the top end and other motor componets.?

id buy a banshee already ready for drag racing. A local guy has a banshee that does 6.6 @ 101.6 in the 1/8 here

On my 10mil 78bore twister engine i got two year on the top end before i put a new set in.

Banshee HANDS DOWN for drag racing... you can build a SICK banshee motor.

Drag ported CPI cylinders, 10mm stroker crank with billet cases, high-compression on alcohol, with big carbs, can give you way over 100hp.

wow that long? i guess if u build it right and have mechanichal know how and do preventive mainteance they will last and thos banshees in that video are insane id be scared to ride that see it breaking loose halfway down the track? nutty!

If he was going production, yeah. But he said he's going to put money into it and wants to get over 100mph.

No 450/525 will ever run an 1/8 mile faster then a 10mil stroker twister banshee. lol.

That's designed for the banshee... I remember seeing that before. 1000cc banshee = sex.

hell, yeah. adrenaline anyone.lol

out of the box a banshee is the fastest. put top end pipes and lectron carbs and you will be VERY fast for a few bucks. dont forget the port work either.

Yeah, porting wakes the beast up. But if he's going to be strictly dragging with it, I would just skip the stock cylinders all together and go to some drag ported cheetah's, or maybe a powervalve T-rex kit. All-out stroker.

also, the rz350 cylinders are faster too. might be able to find some cheaper than the cheetahs.

Yeah, the RZ's are powervalved and everything. Just get em heavily ported.


OR.. if you have the moo-lah... they make a supercharger kit.

they claim 198hp at 20psi on a modified motor.

haha trickracing is a joke that bike was beat by stock framed 350 it was so slow. If your going to build a huge bike mine as well go with a 24mil dmx 885cc.
