i have the intake and ex. hotcam stage 1 cam for my 03 z400 and i have know idea where to set them i dont know where line them up att plz hellllppp asap........??????

Yes,I bought a set of used hot cams and they did not have punch marks but faded paint dots. There was enough there to give me a starting point and also I counted the teeth on the old cams.Hope this helps.

on my intake and ex. cam thare is marks on the the left side of the gear it says in. and the right side of the same gear it says ex. and thats on both cams........cant u tell me ware to set them when i have my motor at t.d.c???????/

send the cams to hotcams they will put the marks back on , most likely for free

I dont know if this helps but here are some pics of mine. I would suggest sending them back to hotcams like said before. If you do insist, the cam lobes will be pointing at 10 and 2 o'clock. Make sure you are at tdc. Dont forget to shim them. Turn the motor over by hand at first to make sure the valves aren't hitting the piston.

If your sprockets have dots as shown in the photos follow the instructions and look at the pics. you will be fine.

it looks like the same that I use. Engine assemble lube by permatex.
