I bought a low hour 87 250r that just had no power in 1st or 2nd but in 3rd it flew. I tried plugs then jets to no availe. Now I have the cylinder off and it measures to have.0032 clearance from the piston to cylinder wall and the rings seem real loose. Is this straight forward replace the rings and put it back together. And go from there? Also does anybody know a good source for standard bore rings for a stock piston. Thank you Javier.
