Exhaust stud?

i was taking off my header, and one of the threads unscrewed with the nut. Its not stripped, and there is a thread on the opposite side, but is that bad? ill put locktite on when i re screw it..

not bad, pretty normall really. When the part of the stud with the nut gets all gummed up with dirt and rust, it locks up with the nut and the stud simply spins out of the head. Loc-tite it and you should be golden.

loc-tite prob. wont do anything because heat liquifys loc-tite again.. It may help slightly but ide try something that is not going to break down with heat.
